WF 6.02 Classic (Windows 10 & 11)

WF version 6 was originally developed by danish JamoDat in 1999, but later updated to version 6.02 Classic.

The program is closest to retro design and is used worldwide by genealogists today, because of its easy application and many features, for example to make a nice website and many different reports and, not least, a nice family book. Basic the program are in english, but you can choose up to 16 other different languages, by installing your prefered language pack.

Many novices in genealogy are still asking for this very popular, and intuitive family research program. Available in 16 languages.  The program is also popular for animal husbandry, as it can also be converted by an «animal» language choices.

In shareware there are certain limitations in eg. printouts (can be viewed on screen). Once you have been licensed, you can use all facilities in the program, including making your own website, so that others can benefit from your family research.

WF 6.02 Classic has a limit of approx. 64,000 people. Then it is necessary to upgrade to a newer WinFamily editions or split the family database into multiple family files.
